All products are CCA H4 level Treated Radiata Pine as defined by AS1604. This grade of treated pine is suitable for in-ground contact in the Temperate climate experienced in Sydney. The round log derived products carry a 50 year treatment warranty (conditions apply) against termite attack and fungal decay. Treated round products are from the highly credible Penrose Pine Products treated with Osmose® Lifewood CCA. Osmose® is “now the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of timber preservatives”. Treated pine sleepers are manufactured by Tasco and are treated with Tanalith® CCA.
